Yoga Nidra with Intention Setting and Distance Reiki Saturday May 9 10-12pm Courtney Parkyn and Kerry Walker-Collins During this 2 hour long workshop, we will begin a simple breath centered yoga asana practice designed to calm the mind, setting the stage to drop into deeper awareness. Participants will then be guided into a brief visualization meditation to help reveal their sankalpa, or intention. Using that intention, we will then transition into the practice of yoga nidra, which is a systematic relaxation to help restore balance to the nervous system, while dropping into the subconscious mind. During the yoga nidra, Kerry will be sending distance Reiki to all participants individually. Students can expect gentle yoga, seated meditation, journaling, yoga nidra, and Reiki healing.
